Exhibition of modern jewellery design incorporating the works of final year jewellery students and staff from colleges across Scotland.
Now in its fourth year, the exhibition highlights the use of modern technologies in the jewellery industry today and their application to contemporary jewellery design.
Alongside the exhibition there will also be a symposium on modern technologies within the jewellery industry as well as workshops for the public.
Symposium
At the Symposium you will hear from several of those involved in the exhibition including:
Karen-Ann Dicken who will be talking about 3D printing and keeping up-to-date with online markets,
Jack Meyer discussing new opportunities in the designer maker market,
Ann Marie Shilto talking about Haptic cloud nine
Kathy Childs discussing how to create stimulus-responsive jewellery using digital fabrication techniques.
