Visit / Exhibitions / Suzhou Utopias

Comment

Suzhou Utopias 13 Nov 2018 – 13 Jan
Review Gallery

Adventurous Architecture / Theo Dounas present the Suzhou Utopias project which takes a look at the future of architectural design by examining a series of contemporary prototypes for Architecture.

The exhibition compares Chinese and ‘Western’ identities, as a preamble to a book on utopias, looking to the future with the purpose to (re)define modern Asian architecture. The exhibition will contain renders and animations including social condensers, skyscrapers and modern takes on rural housing.

The project would be of interest to anyone interested in Asian modernities or the impact of computing in architecture.
