Wear CRM Gallery Two
6 & 7 October 2018
Noon - 4pm

As part of the celebrations around the 150th anniversary of the birth of Charles Rennie Mackintosh, designer Marie O’Connor has created an interactive installation in Gallery 2 that invites the public to participate in a hands-on exploration of Mackintosh’s textile patterns and architectural motifs.

Beyond the rose and the teardrop, the lesser known design vocabulary of Mackintosh will be explored through a weekend of playing, wearing, disguising and balancing to create sculptural hybrids of garment, object and architecture.

Come along and be a part of it!

Photographs and articles made on the day will form the Wear CRM exhibition in the Mackintosh Interpretation Centre.
