Developing inclusive workplaces
Value the Difference Programme
The Lighthouse
29 August & 28 September
9.00am - 12.30pm

As part of the Value the Difference Programme we are delighted to offer you the opportunity of attending a free ½ day workshop to introduce the concept of unconscious bias, explore the impact of unconscious bias on our behaviour and look at the legal framework relating to equality and diversity in the workplace. By understanding the legal framework, you will be better equipped to manage your employees/ team members fairly and reduce the risk of discrimination claims against you and/or your organisation.

The training sessions will be delivered by members of Brodies’ leading employment law team. As part of this interactive session, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in case studies and apply the legal principles they have learned.

We are offering this workshop on the following two dates:-

  • Wednesday, 29th August 2018
  • Friday, 28th September 2018

All sessions will run 09:00 – 12:30am in The Lighthouse, 11 Mitchell Lane, Glasgow, G1 3NU.

If you would like to attend or would like any further information please contact Margaret Linton :  or 0141 287 6489.

This workshop is free to attend and is wholly funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
