Colour and Light II

Kate Colin is a Glasgow-based designer and maker whose work focuses on colour and form. Through a series of precise folding techniques, she explores variations of three dimensional design that can be created through the manipulation of a single sheet of paper.
This exhibition features a vibrant lighting installation, which illustrates how colour and geometric form respond to the presence of light. When illuminated the appearance of each piece is radically transformed; folds, creases and angles become emphasised while an intensity of colour is brilliantly revealed.
