Trakke Adventure Carry presents - Many Hands 12 Jul 2013 – 25 Aug
Gallery One

Trakke is an outdoor lifestyle brand based in Glasgow. In the 3 years since it was started it has become accepted among the elite brands and exports across the globe.

This exhibition explores the origins of the materials used in the production of a Trakke bag, the craftsmanship behind each product and the stories of those who use them out in the wild. This is a fantastic opportunity for a behind-the-scenes look at an emerging brand, their values, their production processes and the epic journeys Trakke bags go on once they leave the workshop.

Trakke Adventure Carry produce a range of high-quality bags that are built to last a lifetime. They use predominantly British-made materials to fabricate products that are equally at home on and off the mountain. Their equipment, designed for Glaswegian winters, has been proven on adventures around the world.

Trakke is the brainchild of Alec Farmer, a Visual Communications graduate from the Glasgow School of Art. He began the business in his spare time as a student, and three years on Trakke is among an elite of luxury goods brands.
