This exhibition marks the 40th anniversary of the Scottish Glass Society. The society was founded in 1979 and ever since it has promoted the appreciation, understanding and development of glassmaking in Scotland.

The exhibition charts the history of the society and glassmaking in Scotland as well as glass education and the society’s support of emerging artists. With a wealth of images of some of the finest examples of contemporary glassmaking, the exhibition also showcases key artists, artworks and glass techniques.
