Re-imagined Structures 25 May 2018 – 30 Sep
Level Two

Working between The Lighthouse’s Materials Considerations Library and Kinning Park Complex, this project brings together a diverse group of people to produce their own recycled plastic building materials.

Participants will experiment with how this can be used in the construction of temporary structures and aim to create comfortable spaces where people can share their ideas and opinions.

Through this programme of creative activity, project coordinator Elena Mary Harris will facilitate in-depth conversations around the issue of sustainability in our building sector, and encourage group members to consider how the construction of shelters could be re-imagined.
