Long Gallery
The Republic of Slovenia lies between the Alps and the Mediterranean, sandwiched between Austria, Hungary, Croatia and Italy. Arts and culture have had a special position in the history of the nation. It became an independent state in 1991 and a member of the EU in 2004.
In celebration of one author, the prominent Slovenian graphic designer, Miljenko Licul, this exhibition presents some of the significant components that defined the visual appearance of a country and helped to shape its identity.
