AIR Jewellery Residence 04 Jul 2017 – 13 Jul
Long Gallery

Parallel Practices is a group show by seven Artists-in-Residence from Edinburgh, Dundee, and Glasgow. With a focus on jewellery and silversmithing, the show presents the cumulative works created during these residencies across Scotland. The selection highlights the variations and ways each maker works when given similar placement. For young artists, a residency is an opportunity to shape their work. Parallel Practices showcases the breadth within the field of jewellery and silversmithing, as each artist finds a path toward success.

Please come join us to celebrate the past year of artistic residencies across Scotland in Glasgow’s centre for design, the Lighthouse.
