Friday 29 May, will see all five floors of The Lighthouse transform once again into a late night social space, to celebrate and combine the best of fashion design with great live music and workshops. Further details will be announced soon.
Over 300 people attended the last The Lighthouse Late in October, which saw three renowned graphic designers give talks. The designers; Ken Garland, Tony Brook and Jonathan Barnbrook each spoke about what inspired them, their approach to graphic design and their different experiences and expertise within the design industry.
Live music and film also shared centre stage with design. James Yorkston performed, ahead of his new single release, as did the mesmerising Ella the Bird as part of her UK tour. The GFT showed a programme of short films and the feature length film God Help the Girl was introduced by its director, Stuart Murdoch, from Belle and Sebastian.
