Building Biographies is the latest biennial review of the diverse range of Scottish architecture. Within the exhibition and this accompanying book recent Scottish projects are presented with European examples from Norway, Austria and Switzerland, placing the buildings of Scotland and their biographies within an international perspective.

By looking at issues such as the culture of place, regional identity and globalisation, the exhibiton and accompaning book asks the buildings to tell their stories and begins to answer the initial concept and approah for the exhibition - why is it like this?
