My Sust. House

This joint Sust. and Lighthouse Education installation is a model house structure demonstrating a range of sustainable building materials from energy saving insulation and renewable energy systems to ‘green’ products, and new ways of living.

‘My Sust. House’ offers a hands-on opportunity for people of all ages to learn about both cutting-edge and traditional approaches to energy saving and renewable energy.

Inside you will find: ‘My Sust. House’ Online Game – a design game that challenges you to build a sustainable new-build house from scratch and to a specified budget!

Kitchen Table Activities – Simple, fun activities to test your eco-credentials and creativity. Material Sample Wall – Explore a range of natural, recycled and recyclable building materials using old and new technologies. Garden Space – A ‘living’ library space for more advice and support on sustainability resources.
