Join us between 11am and 4pm on Saturday 18th March for a collaborative printing and painting workshop with Alice Dansey-Wright. This is a free, drop-in activity suitable for all ages.
Map your responses to Uncovered by adding to a large-scale textile piece using specially designed motifs and symbols inspired by the exhibition. Illustrator Alice Dansey-Wright will host the workshop in the Long Gallery on Level Four, bringing together the handiwork of each visitor who choses to take part. The final piece of fabric will become part of the exhibition.
Alice Dansey-Wright is an illustrator based in Glasgow and much of her work is centred around collaboration, accessibility and ownership. Alice regularly works with textiles and garments, and her most recent textile work will be on display as part of the Collect Scotland SAMPLE exhibition, opening in Gallery One on the 24th March.
