About the Exhibition

SAMPLE is a new exhibition at The Lighthouse, by Collect Scotland. The exhibition aims to shine a light on the bold, innovative, contemporary work being created by textile designers in Scotland. Filling the whole of Gallery One with printed textiles and sculptural displays of large-scale fabrics in a huge exhibition featuring specially commissioned work around five key ‘trends’, SAMPLE shows off the versatility, vibrancy and too-often overlooked talent pool of Scottish textile design.

Collect Scotland is a platform for Scottish textile Design established in 2012. Collect exhibits internationally with an evolving collective of designers and clients include Nike, Whistles, IKEA, Converse and Paperchase.
