About Atelier Bingo
Atelier Bingo are Maxime Prou & Adèle Favreau; a duo from France, renowned for their colourful and abstract works, spanning illustration, surface pattern and graphic design. Their Matisse-influenced aesthetic coupled with their hands-on process of brainstorming ideas using colorful paper cutouts, allow them to build work spontaneously, with playful layers and colours.
About the Workshop
Entitled FLOWER POWER, these workshops will be all about experimenting with pattern, shape and collage, and focus on the theme of Flower Power! Participants will work using analogue processes to create a series of compositions, centred around Bingo’s creative process. Throughout the afternoon, participants will work together to print an explosive variety of editions, where everyone will leave with a stack of colourful prints.
Workshop Outcome: Multiple, assorted prints
Audience: Print focused illustrators, artists and designers from any background who are interested in exploring new processes and analogue techniques.
Level: No riso experience required. Participants should come without a desired outcome in mind, and be open to experimenting and working in collaboration!
Bring: We will have a mix of mark making materials, but if you have favourite drawing materials, please bring them with you. (Please ensure these are black, and not colour based) Reference material is welcome: Botanical books, pictures, drawing, reference about FLOWER
