How many different shades of sandstone can you find? What can we make from Scottish trees? And what do sheep have to do with construction anyway? Answer these and more by taking part in their wide range of activities:

  • Materials Treasure Hunt - on your own or in teams follow the clues to navigate through the drawers of the materials library to find some interesting and unusual building materials.
  • Have a guess- see if you can work out what the recycled materials used to be.
  • Build a miniature dry stone wall, or house, or surprise us!
  • I spy - head off on a trail through the rest of the Lighthouse Building with our I spy game and see how many of the building materials you can spot, can you get maximum points?
  • Build your own sustainable house/ town with our interactive My Sust House computer games.

You will also be able to take time to explore the materials and Scottish Case Study projects on display.
