The Lighthouse to stage rare showing of historic films of Glasgow
12 Dec 06The Lighthouse, Scotland’s National Architecture and Design Centre, is set to take us back to Glasgow’s recent past with rare screenings of some of the seminal films sponsored by the Glasgow Corporation between 1920 and 1978. Sadness and Gladness opens at the beginning of March 2007 and will run for two months. It will feature screenings of films currently held in the Scottish Screen Archive, many of which have not been seen for over 50 years.
