Events and Exhibitions - December 2006 to August 2007

The Lighthouse, Scotland’s National Architecture and Design Centre, announced details of the forthcoming events and exhibitions programme today, 14 December 2006.

Amongst the highlights of the coming months are Northern City (Between Light and Dark), an exhibition exploring the split personality of Edinburgh; Bewinter a showcase of the work by celebrated designers Tait & Style; Glasgow Greenhouse, a focus on Chris Stewart Architects’ innovative, sustainable business centre project in Glasgow’s East End; Sadness and Gladness – a rare public showing of films commissioned by the Glasgow Corporation between 1920 and 1978; and the Scottish Show 2007, part of Scotland’s nationwide SIX CITIES DESIGN FESTIVAL.

Autumn 2007 will see a major survey of the work of Gillespie, Kidd & Coia under the leadership of Andy Macmillan and Isi Metzstein.
