Celebrated designer, Stuart Haygarth, to create new version of Spectacle chandelier for The Lighthouse.
Designer, Stuart Haygarth, has been wowing the world with his fabulous chandeliers recycling everything from seashore jetsam to used party poppers. Now he is set to make a new version of his celebrated Spectacle Chandelier especially for The Lighthouse, Scotland’s national Architecture and Design Centre.
The chandelier, created out of hundreds of pairs of discarded spectacles, will be the centrepiece of the first floor Review Gallery and bring a touch of sparkle to building this winter. Stuart Haygarth’s Spectacle Chandelier will be unveiled on 1 December 2007 and on view until 24 February 2008.
