Winners of the 2007 Glasgow 1999 Design Medal and Creative Entrepreneur of the Year announced.

Model turned fashion designer, Dieny Itoe, and Camille Lorigo, the powerhouse behind Che Camiile, scooped the prestigious Glasgow 1999 Design Medal and Creative Entrepreneur of the Year Award last night.

“With design talent such as Dieny’s and entrepreneurial flair like Camille’s, things are looking good for Scotland’s creative future,” says Nick Barley, director of The Lighthouse, Scotland’s National Architecture and Design Centre, which presents the two awards annually in celebration of Scotland’s creative talent.
