This exhibition will unveil Raflas graphic design practice that has mostly developed from one of her many careers as a DJ.
Her designs of posters and record covers have turned into a big body of work that will be exhibited for the first time at the Lighthouse.


HRAFNHILDUR HALLDÓRSDÓTTIR BIO

Hrafnhildur Halldórsdóttir is an artist, graphic designer and DJ. She was born in Reykjavík, Iceland but has since 1998 lived and worked in Glasgow. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 2001 (BA Hons Fine Art) and 2007 (MFA). She has exhibited her sculptural works widely both nationally and internationally. She is a self-taught graphic designer and has since 2004 designed posters and record covers alongside her fine art practice. In her graphic design practice her love of music, images and visual styling has developed into a large body of work in its own right.
