The Scottish Civic Trust My Place Awards, supported by the Scottish Government, celebrate buildings and places around Scotland that are shining examples of good design and conservation, as judged by local people. Their aim is to identify and commend individuals and projects that have had a positive impact in a local neighbourhood and have delivered tangible benefits to that community.
The My Place Photography Competition, supported by Historic Scotland, is a national photography competition run by the Scottish Civic Trust, encouraging primary and secondary school aged children to take pictures of their local architecture and heritage.
This exhibition presents both awards, highlighting the Scottish built environment through the eyes of young people and the nominations of local people. The exhibition is supported by Architecture + Design Scotland.
