Lighthouse Late Countdown is On 21 May 2015

All 5 floors here at The Lighthouse will have something to entertain you during this fantastic night. We will have 4 live music performances from Prides, KLOË, Man of Moon and Honeyblood; TeaGreen’s Makers Market; a t-shirt up cycling workshop with Jill Skulina; DJ Nicola Meighan; Alice Dansey-Wright’s workshop; Saunt and Sinner; Glasgow School of Art fashion design students Hang Jun Jo and Daniel Tulloch; and Glasgow Short Film Festival!

Prides will be performing a stripped back set and we cannot wait to see them play. They have announced today that their new album will launch on 10th July and it is available to pre-order today, check their Facebook Page for more information. The band are currently touring the States, you can follow their journey on snapchat – pridesband. 

KLOË was playlisted by BBC Radio 1’s BBC Introducing Playlist last week and will be playing at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend 2015 this weekend! KLOË‘s first single ‘Grip’ was produced by Prides’ drummer Lewis Gardiner and was debuted on Soundcloud gaining over 60,000 hits soon after its’ release! This will be a fantastic performance and we can’t wait to see her either.

Man of Moon are a 2 piece Rock band from Edinburgh in Scotland. In the short time they have been together the band have been building a strong following in Scotland having supported the likes of We Were Promised Jetpacks, Phantom Band and The Subways and already and gaining support and airplay on BBC Introducing, Radio Scotland and XFM.

TeaGreen’s Makers Market will host over 20 designers with painters, illustrators, jewellers, fashion designers, photographers, home ware designers and much more all showcasing the very best in independent Scottish art & design.

In addition, Tea Green will be hosting a hands-on workshop in partnership with textile artist Jill Skuilna. 'Transformers – T-Shirts in disguise: Re-imaging T-Shirts' with Jill Skulina will be a drop in up-cycling workshop where visitors will learn how to give an old T-Shirt a new lease of life and make a new addition to their wardrobe.

Tea Green will also have the lovely ladies from Wardrobe conversations on hand there with their infamous 'Instagram photobooth' to capture the evening’s fabulous creations.

Lighthouse Late is supported by Brugal Rum and Innis & Gunn so there will be plenty of tasty rum and beers available to purchase on the night. *Your ticket also gets you a freebie!*
