During the 1960s three now extinct architectural practices - Rowand Anderson Kininmonth and Paul, Alison and Hutchison, Peter Womersley - designed some remarkable buildings in Edinburgh, Lothian and the Borders. Most of the buildings are barely known outwith their local communities. Following a presentation a panel will discuss numerous works by the three practices, in an attempt to reconstruct how architecture finds itself in its current situation, and speculate on its future.
The panel includes writer Owen Hatherley, visual artist Toby Paterson, ESALA University lecturer Chris Lowry, Edinburgh University student Sophie Crocker and Reiach and Hall Architects Director James Grimley.
